About Zena Everett
I help people to achieve career goals they thought were impossible.
Zena Everett is Author of ‘The Crazy Busy Cure’ and ‘Mind Flip: Take the Fear out of Your Career’ She is also an international leadership coach and sought-after speaker on careers and time management.
I used to run a successful recruitment business, which recruited other recruiters (yes, seriously). I became fascinated by why some people were more successful than others so I sold my shares, retrained in organisational psychology and career management, and qualified in coaching psychology.
I learnt that success largely comes down to two factors: crystal clear goals and a learned ability to cope with the obstacles that get between us and what we want to achieve (often obstacles of our own making).
My philosophy for career success is Mind Flipping: to flip your focus away from yourself and instead look outwards on the problems you, uniquely, can solve for others. It’s not about YOU! How do you articulate your contribution to others?
Then I realised that most of my clients were overwhelmed. How they focused their time, talent and energy rarely reflected their priorities or values.
I wrote my Crazy Busy sessions and my second book, The Crazy Busy Cure, to help leaders and their teams become happy and productive.
‘Don’t Just Do It’ has become my motto.

Zena helped reshape my own thinking about career development but also really inspired my team to identify and challenge blockers to more productive working. Fantastic style both as a live presenter and as an author – I particularly like Mind Flip – and I would recommend her unconditionally..
