Executive Coaching Programme
Relish the challenges of your leadership roleI coach senior people, usually as part of a broader talent management programme to retain and elevate top performers. Frequently they have realised that the behaviours that got them to this stage of their career won’t get them to the leadership level they aspire to next (to paraphrase Marshall Goldsmith).
Coaching reinforces strengths and fills development gaps. It reduces cognitive overload, increases self-awareness and focuses attention. This accelerates the rate you meet challenges such as:
- The demands of a new leadership position with stretch performance targets
- Navigating challenging inter-personal relationships (difficult people above or below you)
- Nailing down priorities in complex, matrix organisations
- Getting off the Crazy Busy bandwagon, managing overwhelm and stress
- Increasing self-awareness and understanding your own cognitive bias
- Standing out amongst your peers
- Building resilience in high-stakes situations
- Critical career decision making
- Aligning your priorities to meet conflicting and challenging demands
- Organisational change management programmes
- Work/life imbalances and coping with stress
- Transition from a management to a leadership role
- The transition from functional head to leading multi-functional teams
- Defining personal leadership style
- Strategy, sales or marketing planning — challenging stale/habitual thinking
- Fixing whatever is holding you back
- Identifying potential de-railers, over-used strengths and blind-spots (such as micro-management, perfectionism, desire to be a fixer/hero, lack of influence, weak listening skills, over-commitment and under-delivery, resistance to change, self-sabotage, poor work/life balance, lack of confidence, unrestrained ego, unhelpful defence mechanisms). The strengths that get you through earlier stages of your career can get in the way later on.
- Passing selection panels for promotion.
WHY WORK WITH ME?
Coaching with me will be inspiring, though-provoking, effective and liberating.
I have been coaching since I exited my recruitment company in 2009 and invested in my own career change, starting with an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and Career Management. My earlier psychodynamic counselling training keeps me alert to unconscious processes and boundaries, essential in healthy coaching relationships.
I have leadership qualifications from Cranfield Business School and MIT Sloan Business School and extensive coaching training and experience, including on the Executive MBA programme at Oxford University’s Said Business School.
My qualifications and testimonials are on my LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/zenaeverett.
Commitment: A retained coaching relationship, including an intensive deep dive first meeting, nine further meetings, a feedback exercise and regular calls when you need me, starts at £17,900 (plus VAT if you are a UK entity). I agree a flat fee for travel to international clients at the start of the programme.
This is NOT off the shelf coaching. As part of your programme, I might sit in on your meetings or run a workshop for your team to help you build cohesion. I will always teach you and your leadership team performance and feedback coaching techniques: whatever it takes.

Hi Zena, I wanted to share some exciting news – I’ve received my promotion! I’m now Director of Brand & Marketing. I’m so proud and – as you know – reflective on how I got here. I want to thank you again for all of the support you gave me and clarity you helped me find. There has been a noticeable improvement (that I’ve observed) in how I’m handling my position and navigating the environment here.
Zena is a highly regarded coach. She is insightful, practical but focused on leadership/strategic career goals. Zena doesn’t miss a trick, she will focus on everything you say, unpick it all, challenge, and then, as a true coach, get you to the right, impactful, life changing answers.
Zena was an outstanding coach when I did my EMBA at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School. She helped to shape and articulate my thinking on my future goals and aspirations. I highly recommend her services to any executive that requires a business coach.
